A friendly brewery and bar located in the industrial back streets.

In an area filled with automotive workshops and residential buildings, 3 Ravens is a welcome sight for locals and beer lovers wanting a Friday wind down.

The low-ceilinged space, once known as the Pleasure Palace, is part-industrial brewery and part-warehouse hangout. In 2016, the zebra-striped couches were replaced by repurposed pallets and high wooden tables to smarten up the space.

Thankfully, the interesting collection of beer bottles, cans and labels has been left displayed in the steel girders overhead. Bring a beer enthusiast here and they’ll happily spend half an hour mentally ticking off those they have and haven’t tried.

At the stressed timber bar, 10 taps pour beers from 3 Ravens Brewery and Mash Brewing – the West Australian brewery that bought 3 Ravens in 2013. Together, the two brands offer a mix of classic English styles, hoppy American IPAs, sour and barrel-aged ales. All are brewed on site. Craft spirits and a couple of local wines round out the list.

Not only a brewery, the building also houses co-working space CoBrew and hosts seasonal makers markets. These bring the tenants together to show off their skills and handmade products.

Rotating food trucks such as Smokin’ Barrys and the Taco Truck widen the appeal to those wanting a relaxed space to eat and drink.
