A Landmark Reimagined

The Albion Hotel is a historic pub that first opened its doors in 1847 and has since experienced many transformations and names. Today, it’s under the careful stewardship of Pete Walsh and Anthony Daniel, owners of Bodriggy Brewing Co. The pair embrace the venue’s unique blend of late 19th-century and mid-20th-century charm.

Old-World Charm Meets Contemporary Flair

At the heart of the pub is a large U-shaped bar adorned with green tiles and stained glass. Dark timber walls line the space, complemented by matching furniture, tartan carpeting, and wooden flooring.

Schooners, Cocktails, and Tap Wine

Bodriggy tap beers take center stage, served exclusively by the schooner. The drink selection also includes four rotating tap wines available by the glass or carafe, alongside a curated cocktail menu. The Marmalade Margaritaβ€”a mix of blanco tequila, mandarin, and sour orangeβ€”is a standout favourite.

Pub Fare with a Latin American Twist

The food menu focuses on pub classics infused with Mexican and Latin American flavors. The oysters aguachile, topped with cucumber, red onion, and crispy jalapeno, put a fresh twist on the traditional Mexican marinated prawn dish. For dessert, the glazed churro ice-cream sandwichβ€”made with two cruller-sized discs of deep-fried chouxβ€”offers a delicious finish.
