A wacky gaming arcade serving dumpling-topped pizzas and boozy bubble cups.

If sensory overload is your thing, then try B. Lucky & Sons. It’s a madhouse from Funlab, the team behind Strike Bowling and the Holey Moley minigolf bars.

Located on level three of Melbourne Central, the interior of the cocktail bar and arcade has an East-meets-West vibe, and is run by a fictional nefarious pawnbroker called Bill Lucky.

The leather chesterfield has glowing LED buttons. There are crystal chandeliers, and neon signs. The chairs are bespoke and made with Hong Kong-Chinese dragons from triad tattoos.

In the attached pawnshop you can trade game-machine tickets for prizes that include old Nintendo consoles, spa treatments and helicopter rides.

In keeping with the subtlety-free interiors you’ll find a menu of boozy bubble cups and novelty pizzas topped with sausages and gravy, and dumplings and bonito flakes.

And on the roof there’s a courtyard and smoking area featuring wooden trees with flashing lights, and a view of the city.
