The sustainable workwear brand's sprawling HQ is a one-stop shop for aprons, shirts, boiler suits and more. Customise your garment with personalised embroidery, and sip a free barista-made coffee while you shop.

While it’s not exactly the first thing you notice when stepping into a restaurant, a staff uniform is the icing on the cake of a venue’s visual identity. With a past life in fashion, Felicity Rodgers launched work-wear brand Cargo Crew in 2002 as a response to the cookie-cutter hospitality uniforms that often favour function over design. Today, Cargo Crew’s client list is a who’s-who of Australian hospitality, from Curtis Stone’s Michelin-starred LA diners Gwen and Maud to Victorian gin giant Four Pillars.

The brand’s sprawling Bundoora HQ is where you can shop the entire range, including aprons in a variety of shapes and fabrics, button-up work shirts, boiler suits, and chefwear rugged enough to withstand the most demanding kitchens. Accessories include belts, caps, and even face masks.

All Cargo Crew garments are manufactured with ethically sourced materials, and designed with strength and longevity in mind. And depending on your purchase, garments come in either compostable, recycled paper, or “nude” (zero) packaging.

When you visit, there are plenty of options to customise your look, including onsite logo embroidery and styling advice. Whether you’re purchasing an apron for yourself or 100 complete uniforms for a team, you’ll receive wholesale direct pricing. Plus, a complimentary barista-made coffee while you shop.
