Authentic Hispanic ingredients and smallgoods since 1975.

Established in 1975 by Jose and Alice de Sousa after they migrated from Madiera, Casa Iberica has been a haven for the Hispanic and Latin communities of Melbourne, as well as those with a love for Spanish and Portugese cooking and eating.

Now owned by Jose’s godson Paul and his wife Mericia, the business has continued to grow and now includes a second premises in Alphington, as well as a warehouse in Fairfield where Paul and Mericia manufacture their own smallgoods such as salami, chorizo and black pudding.

You can also find Spanish cheeses by the block, jamon, tamales and empanadas, almost any kind of hot sauce there is, piles of tortillas and 17 sizes of paella pans.

Importing quality, hard-to-find ingredients from Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador and Mexico, Casa Iberica will supply you with anything you need for your next Latin feast. Don’t leave without a paper bag of the famous Portuguese custard tarts.
