It’s not Greece, but it almost feels like it. Expect hearty Greek meze of dips, salads, grilled meats and seafood, with an emphasis on seasonal produce. Dine at the bar or in the shady courtyard with a lush vertical garden.

Greek food made by a Greek guy. That’s the philosophy at Demitri’s Feast. Well, that along with a celebration of seasonal organic produce.

Fresh, authentic Greek food is what you can expect here – if you don’t mind the wait that is; getting a table here is almost always a challenge. But once you’re seated, a real feast is likely to follow.

The menu is made up of genuine Greek dishes and other modern classics with just a discreet nod towards a particular Mediterranean coast. Choices include broad bean meatballs with feta and yoghurt; ouzo-cured salmon with celeriac and fennel remoulade; and slow-roasted goat with lemon potatoes.

The shady courtyard out the back is canopied with hanging plants and herbs and is a great spot to enjoy a Greek wine or a Negroni made with mastic and red wine from the Naoussa region. It’s not like being in Greece, but it’s pretty close.
