Bold Architecture, Big Reds, and Unforgettable Views

Set high on a hilltop with panoramic views of the Goulburn Valley, Peregrine Ridge might just have one of the most unforgettable cellar doors in Victoria. Designed by architect Nick Marino to look as though it’s rising from the earth, the striking building features floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the surrounding vineyards β€” and on a clear day, even Mount Buller.

Shiraz at Its Finest

Shiraz is the star here, thriving in the iron-rich Cambrian soils of Heathcote. Tastings often include a refreshing non-vintage sparkling (the Shearstone), American and French oak-aged Shiraz, and a standout vintage fortified Shiraz that makes an excellent dessert wine.

Precision Meets Passion

Winemaker Graham Quigley β€” whose background in engineering informs his precise, methodical approach β€” is usually on hand to talk guests through the differences between barrels, vintages, and the vineyard’s unique terroir.

Regional Flavours to Match

Wine tastings can be paired with generous regional platters stacked with local charcuterie, cheeses, and condiments. Vegan-friendly pesto and dip options are also available, and gluten-free diets are well catered for.
