From organic wine to Japanese ginger ale, this bottleshop and bar has something weird and wonderful to delight you.

Navigating the world of beer, wine and sprits can be a challenge for most of us. The staff at Small Patch has tried and tasted every bottle before it hits the shelves. It’s the perfect team to provide sound advice for all your booze-related queries.

The independent bar and bottle shop specialises in local wines, craft beers, ciders and spirits. It works with local and international producers to supplying customers with quality products ranging from organic wine, to Japanese ginger ales.

Owner Craig Donnachie grew up in Scotland, where he was exposed to a community of winemakers, brewers and distillers. Influenced by his upbringing and hometown village, Donnachie set up Small Patch as way of returning to the traditions of local shop keeping, free from fluoro lights and shopping trolleys.

This approach makes Small Patch more than the average bottle-o. While you can zip-in and grab a vino to go, you’re also welcome to stay a while and make the most of this local watering hole.

You can even BYO your own dinner and pair it with a glass of red off the shelf. Small Patch also sells cheeses, olives and chips for you to nibble while you drink. Keep an eye out for monthly tastings.
