Somebuddy Loves You is a Smith Street staple. Since 2003 owner Lyndsey Spark has catered to all demographics and occasions, carrying womenswear, menswear, kids clothing and accessories. Styles range from jeans and T-shirts, to high-end event dressing. There are few other stores where $50 Wrangler T-shirts sit next to $900 dresses.

Prints and colour are the hallmarks of clothing that can be found in Somebuddy. Spark has typically stayed away from minimalist trends or clothes that might be considered overly feminine. Chief brands include Karen Walker, Lonely Lingerie and Deadly Ponies. The shop also features local brands such as Permanent Vacation and Sister Studios.

The store itself has been designed to be upmarket but approachable, quirky but warm. Architects designed sweeping arches across the entry to the change rooms to match the historical designs of Smith Street. Neon signage brings a touch of the contemporary.
