Where Coffee Meets Culture

The Reading Room Cafe blends the best of café and library culture, creating a unique campus hangout. Along one wall, shelves showcase coffee beans, books, and vintage typewriters, inviting patrons to swap a book of their own for one from the collection. With plenty of power points available, students can comfortably work both indoors and outdoors.

Beans with a Backstory

Co-owner Eleena Tan, who previously worked at St Ali and Sensory Lab, sources specialty beans directly from Sensory Lab’s roasters to ensure top-notch coffee.

A Literary Twist on Lunch

The food display is warm and welcoming, featuring a seasonal menu with cleverly named snacks and meals inspired by literature. For a light start, try the Wuthering Heights muesli and yoghurt, or for a quick lunch fix, the Pick Me Up, Please lunchbox — complete with a sandwich, fruit, brownie, and Berocca — is perfect for students on the move.

For Students and Beyond

Beyond daily offerings, the Reading Room Cafe also provides catering for events big and small. And while the café caters to students, everyone is welcome to enjoy the affordable, student-friendly prices.
