If you can take your eyes off of the stunning green and gold leaf wallpaper that greets you as you step inside, you’ll find that Thread Den is a veritable treasure trove; vintage frocks and suits, new designs with vintage inspiration by local emerging artists, handcrafted gifts and jewellery, and plenty of gorgeous fabric for creative minds to run free with.

Upstairs, classes are offered in sewing and design, catering to beginners or the more experienced dressmakers. The lovely tutors are aware that modern ladies and gents are short of time, so classes are broken down into single lessons or short courses (usually no more than 3 sessions) to keep your time free for more creating!
