Sourdough, spelt, multigrain, and soy and linseed are among the bready delights at this respected outfit. And no visit is complete without trying the doughnuts, filled with rotating flavours such as lemon custard and rhubarb.

Bread is the main game at Tivoli Road, with sourdough, spelt, soy and linseed and multigrain among the varieties to choose from. Those with a hunger for sweets are also very well catered for, with croissants (plain, almond or chocolate, each with optional jam), fruit danishes in both pear and apple varieties and the cult favourites – round doughnuts with rotating flavours such as lemon custard, rhubarb or salted caramel.

The lunch menu features sandwiches with thick-cut slices of soy and linseed bread, which we recommend you get toasted, especially if it’s the delightful cheese and mush. Pies and sausage rolls comfortably tick the savoury pastries box. Coffee comes courtesy of Small Batch.

The bakery has passed through a number of hands since opening in 2012. Originally it was part of Frank Camorra’s MoVida empire, under the name MoVida Bakery, before head baker Michael James and his wife Pippa took over and renamed it Tivoli Road Bakery. And since November 2018 it’s been operated by Little Virtual, the same company behind Little Cupcakes.
